I bought these chimes to replace a set that I had purchased a LONG time ago (maybe 15 years). They have moved with me to four different states and always hang outside my bedroom window. I was crushed when they finally fell apart and couldn't be repaired. I was no longer even sure of their name.

Searching for JW Stannard chimes, I found many listed - and most of them had recordings of their sound as well. Thanks to that, and going by their basic size, I took a chance and ordered. They arrived quickly and well packaged.

I'm happy to report that indeed, these are the same chimes that have been my companion for so long - AND they still appear to be made with the same craftsmanship and quality that allowed my first set to last all those years.

This is a delicate sounding, soothing chime, with a tone that is still full, and that carries, thanks to the solid metal used in their construction.

I used to work at a gift shop that predominantly carried Stannard wind chimes because of their high quality in workmanship as well as the beautiful sound they produce. When I moved cross country I brought a couple with me, and now after 10 years of outdoor use the strings have finally started to give way. I looked at a bunch of other brands and models, and ended up getting a new Stannard "Lark" model. I love the sounds it produces in even a gentle wind. I highly recommend this product!

The 28-Inch, "Lark" wind chime. This delightful chime sings a bright melody of springtime. 6 tubular chimes: E,F#,G#,B,C#,E J.W.
