I thought this breaker bar was great when I first got it. Fit in the tool box, easy to adjust, good leverage. After about a dozen car repairs over 18 months, the expansion joint got stuck and I no longer can change the length. I was trying to loosen the brake caliper mount bolts. I was pulling pretty hard. After I broke the bolt loose, the joint was stuck. It's good, just not for hard jobs.

Not long after ordering this i got a flat on my truck. It made short work of getting the tire off. The build quality seems 9/10. The amount it extends seems a tad short but not worth worrying about.

I use this primarily for loosening the lug nuts on my car. At 158 ft-lbs, I needed something sturdy and long. This bar does the trick just fine. It feels solid, and has a great positive engagement on the extension portion, which works nicely to fit it inside my tool box when not in use. For only $27 this is a HUGE value!!!
